This trip taught me I am blessed to have amazing dog training friends.
The Last week in June I booked a flight and flew to Alabama. I was stressed and needed a new outlook. I flew to a friend’s house in Spanish Fort who happens to be a brilliant dog trainer. Hampton is a cool individual. He runs a medium-sized board and train facility out of his house. He has 8 board and trains and 3 personal dogs. I went down to get a different outlook on training. I however am a lot smaller have 2 personal dogs and only take in 1-2 board and train clients at a time. Learning is something I thrive with. I love learning new things the it comes to the dog world. I got to experience an amazing talented working dog club and put in my two cents with a club who is much bigger than mine. My personal dog showed me how much she is really capable of if I trust her in new environments. I got to decoy some new dogs (thank you to everyone who let me catch your dog). I absolutely love decoying but don’t get a ton of opportunity to catch different dogs other than the few in my club. This trip taught me I am blessed to have amazing dog training friends all over the us who welcome me with open arms whether if it’s to train my personal dogs, work as a decoy or just relax thank you to everyone who has given me amazing opportunities.
